Magazine

A flagship publication, scoped to fit you.

A magazine is the most ambitious thing a company can publish, and the most rewarding. We commission the writing, design every page, and ship the schedule that suits the business — monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly. Long pieces, customer profiles, the company’s own thinking, made permanent. The magazine becomes the artefact your sales team carries, your investors keep, your competitors quietly study, and your future hires read before they say yes. The scope can range from a tight 12-page digital quarterly to a flagship multi-language publication; we tune the scope to your budget and your audience.

What’s included

  • Editorial planning and commissioning
  • Writing, copy editing, and proofing
  • Editorial design and layout
  • Print-ready files, on schedule

Annual Report

A year, made permanent.

For most companies, the annual report is the most important document they produce — and the one they take the least seriously as a piece of writing. We treat the report as a real publication: rigorously researched, considered in design, and written so it can actually be read. The financials remain auditable, the disclosures remain compliant, but the story around them is built by editors and journalists rather than a templating tool. The result is a report that boards remember, partners forward, and the public record holds onto.

What’s included

  • Story spine and chapter writing
  • Photography direction or commissioning
  • Print-ready editorial design
  • Liaison with finance and compliance

Sustainability Report

ESG, BRSR, and impact — done as a real publication.

For listed companies, the sustainability report is now a regulatory necessity — and the document everyone groans about producing. We treat it the way we treat the annual report: as a real piece of writing, with original reporting on what the company actually does, rather than a templated reproduction of disclosure tables. Compliance remains compliant. The narrative around it makes the case for the company’s claims. For investors, regulators, and the journalists who read these documents in detail, that’s the difference between a credible report and one that gets glanced over.

What’s included

  • BRSR, GRI, and SASB framework alignment
  • Original reporting and writing
  • Data visualisation and infographics
  • Print-ready editorial design

Newsletter

A monthly letter for the people who carry your brand.

A newsletter is the most under-used publication in business. The dealer who stocks your product, the customer who recommends you, the partner who carries your name into a new market — they all read, and almost none of them are written for. We build monthly print or email newsletters around the rhythm of your category and your audience: useful intelligence, recognition, the company’s own commentary. Done well and done consistently, a newsletter is the cheapest distribution channel a brand has, and the most loyal.

What’s included

  • Editorial calendar tied to the audience
  • Considered writing, with translation
  • Print or email design and dispatch
  • Subscriber management

Brand Book & Sales Deck

A book, or a deck, that tells your story right.

Most companies do not need another deck. They need a book — a single object that articulates what the company believes, how it works, why it exists, and where it is going. We write and design brand books as actual books: editorially commissioned, photographed across the company’s operations, and produced to a standard that makes them last. We also build the deck version of the same artefact: a screen-first edition that holds up against the McKinsey-grade material your buyers are used to seeing.

What’s included

  • Brand story and writing
  • Editorial design (print or screen)
  • Photography and asset direction
  • Print supervision or screen-ready files

Editorial Direction

A senior editor for your in-house team.

Some companies already have writers and designers — what they lack is editorial judgement. We work as an external editor on a monthly retainer: reviewing the calendar, reading drafts, sharpening briefs, and making the calls that an in-house team often cannot make against itself. The relationship is consultative, not production-led; we do not write the work for you, we make sure what you write is worth publishing. By year two, most clients have absorbed the judgement into their own team and we step back.

What’s included

  • Monthly editorial review
  • Calendar planning and brief development
  • Direct feedback to writers and designers
  • Strategy memos when something needs naming

Editorial Audit

An honest look at what you’re already publishing.

Some companies don’t yet need a magazine or an annual report — they need to know whether what they’re already producing is working. Over two to three weeks we read every piece of public-facing material your company has put out in the last year — the website, the brochures, the dealer comms, the LinkedIn posts, the most recent annual report — and write a candid memo on what’s working, what isn’t, and where the highest-value editorial moves are. Most clients who commission an audit go on to commission a real project. Some don’t, and that’s fine — the audit stands on its own as a clear-eyed read of where you are.

What’s included

  • Review of 6–12 months of public-facing material
  • A 12–18 page memo with specific recommendations
  • A sixty-minute walkthrough session
  • A scoping sketch for follow-on work, if relevant
